Why not post a bit to introduce ourselves?

Hi! I'm Brian. I am the adminstrator of this site.

I live near Ottawa, ON with my wife. By day, I run a small web development shop.

In my free time, I am a bit of a gun nut.

While I don't own any firearms at the moment, I really like the Russian or Finn-captured WWII surplus rifles, such as the Mosin-Nagants, SVT-40 etc. Once the availability of 7.57x54mmR settles down a bit, I hope to pick up a nice 91/30.

What about the rest of you?

Hi Brian !
I'm Rick and a bit of a gun enthusiast, but not a web forum type of guy.
But I came across this site and saw the Tikka Tactical for sale and i'm quite interested. I have a few questions:
Is the rifle still for sale?
What do you mean by storage wear?
Any other damage cosmetic or other?
What make and model scope and rings?
How old is the gun?
How many rounds total approx have been fired through the gun?
Is it a shooter What kind of grouping and with what ammo?

Nice site Brian. Thanks for putting it up! I already spotted a firearm I was looking for and will be contacting the owner today. I'm Al and I live in Nova Scotia. "goldidig" is my handle on CGN as well as here. If you are wondering about the "username", I run a hardrock gold exploration business. I've been collecting and shooting for 30 years or so now. Funny how you just can never have enough guns in a collection isn't it? GRIN

Hey Brian. This is just the type of site that I have been looking for. My name is Rich and I'm from the Auburn, ON area. I'm in the beginning stages of becoming a gunsmith and it's great to see some Canadian content in relation to firearms! I actually have a friends Mosin Nagant that I am going to be working on to bring it back to working condition (barns are not the place to store them!) Perhaps once I am done with it I will post some before and after pictures of it here.
